/calculators/turnaroundTypical plan from booking to approval, with the median matching editor. You have 1 week of slack — start within that and you make the deadline.
Draft time is each editor's stated first-draft turnaround, multiplied by the batches their concurrent capacity forces. Review and revision times are medians measured from delivery records here. Booking time is the editor's measured response time to invitations. Plans assume you review promptly; every day a delivery waits on you is a day added.
How the number is made.
Every figure on this page is computed from the live roster and the order records, and the result above is the same arithmetic the server ran for this link.
Booking from the editor's response time; drafts from their stated turnaround; reviews and revisions from delivery records.
An editor works on at most their stated number of orders at once, so a big order queues in batches.
The same plan is run with each matching editor's own figures to list who can actually make your date.
What we measured, and what we would not.
A figure we cannot measure cleanly is withheld and the calculator asks you instead. A guess presented as data would make every result below it wrong.
