Pricing

Free to post. 5% when you hire.

The client adds 5% at checkout, the editor keeps 90% of the agreed price, and both numbers are shown before anyone commits. That is the whole schedule.

Fee schedule

Four numbers. Nothing else is charged.

These figures are read straight from the platform's fee schedule. If it changes, this page changes with it.

Client service fee
5%

Added on top of the agreed price when the brief is funded. Covers escrow, the review room, dispute handling and payment processing.

Editor commission
10%

Withheld from the editor's side on release. The editor keeps the rest, which is the only figure either side needs to agree on.

Per withdrawal
$1

Flat, regardless of amount. Minimum withdrawal $25; earnings clear in 5 days.

Auto-release window
5 days

If a client never answers a delivery, escrow releases to the editor automatically. Silence is not a payment term.

One $50 brief, followed all the way to a bank account.

Both sides of an order are derived from one agreed price, so the client's total and the editor's net can never disagree. Here is every cent.

Rounding

Fees are calculated in whole cents and rounded half-up, so the client fee and the commission always add up to the exact spread. Nothing is rounded in our favour.

Timing

Charged when you fund. Released when you approve, or automatically 5 days after delivery. Withdrawable 5 days later.

Currency

Orders are priced and held in US dollars. Payout methods convert at withdrawal.

Questions

About the money.

Is there a subscription or a seat fee?
No. The platform earns only when an order is funded and released. Brand seats are free; consolidated invoicing is on enterprise.
Who pays the service fee — can we split it differently?
The client pays 5% on top of the agreed price and the editor has 10% withheld from it. The split is fixed for every order so neither side has to negotiate it.
What happens to the fee if an order is cancelled before work starts?
An unfunded order costs nothing. A funded order cancelled before delivery is refunded from escrow; the trust page explains the refund rules in full.
Do fees apply to tips or bonuses?
A bonus paid on top of an approved order is treated like any other release: the editor commission applies, the client fee does not.
Why does the editor pay a payout fee?
Moving money to a bank costs money. It is a flat $1 per withdrawal regardless of size, so withdrawing $45 costs the same as withdrawing $25.
